Note how the spreads on local exchanges (Luno and VALR) are generally higher than the equivalent market on Binance. OTC trading mitigates unexpected losses caused by these large spreads by guaranteeing a single rate for a prespecified trading volume.

The ROI for these cycles is generally quite low, indicating that these exchanges are efficient market places.
